Mary Lou Davis, 88, of Byesville passed away Tuesday (May 29, 2012) at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May 25, 1924 in East Liverpool and was the daughter of the late Don and Susan A. (Gefeller) Rutledge.
Mary Lou retired from Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center as an LPN after 14 years of service. She had previously worked at Red Carpet Health Care Center and the former State Hospital.
She was a member of the former Church of Christ on Second Street in Byesville, and a 1942 graduate of Cambridge High School. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and dancing.
She is survived by two daughters, Andrea Degenhart (Charles) Gabel of Cumberland and Cindy Kay Davis Bebout of Cambridge; one sister, Donna Sue Rutledge (Steve) Beskid of Byesville; eight grandchildren, Jeanine, Lou, Shelly, Donna, Paula, Terry, Jennifer, Kristy; twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandson; two nieces and two nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery with Evang. Vernon Barrell officiating.
