Scott Oliver,42, of Byesville passed away Saturday June 2, 2012 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus following a battle with cancer.
He was born March 4, 1970 in Cambridge to Richard Oliver and Patricia (Baers) Oliver.
Scott was Methodist by faith, attended Meadowbrook High School, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had previously worked for W.E. Hensley Contracting and liked to farm when possible. The most important thing to Scott was spending as much time as he could with his family.
Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by his step mom Julie Oliver, half brother Mark Johnson, and infant half sister Connie Jo Oliver.
Survivors include his father Richard Oliver Sr. of Cambridge; mother Patricia Oliver of Cambridge; wife Heather Arns of Byesville; two daughters, Megan and Amber; and a son Gage all of the home; a step daughter Stephanie Lynn Provonche of Cambridge; three brothers, Richard R. Oliver Jr. of Columbus, twin brother Gregory S. (Becky) Oliver of Senecaville, and David R. (Becky) Oliver of Senecaville; Two sisters, Mary Ellen (Richard) Hensley of Salesville and Leigh Ann (Greg) Morris of the Ukraine; mother in law Marion Arns of Cambridge; in laws Candace (Steve) Huggins, Joe Arns, and Helen Arns; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-8 at Black-Epperson Funeral Home in Byesville with funeral services scheduled for Tues. @ 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
