Diana Jean Stranathan, 23, of Pleasant City passed away Tuesday (June 19, 2012).
She was born March 7, 1989 in Lake Forest, IL and was the daughter of Mike and Dorothy Stranathan of Pleasant City.
Diana was a former employee of Mancan at Ridgid Tool. She was a volunteer at the Caldwell food pantry, former member of Byesville Trinity Church, a 2007 graduate of Meadowbrook High School where she attended the Buffalo Vocational Campus for Graphic Arts.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends, her many pets, and had recently begun gardening with much enthusiasm.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, William and Doris Stranathan and Eugene and Josephine Hellier.
In addition to her parents she is survived by one brother James Stranathan of the home; two aunts, Malinda Hogg of South Carolina and Marlene Khune of Pleasant City; and several cousins, including special cousin Corey Bates.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday.
Burial will be in Pleasant City Cemetery.
