David Allan Barnett, 51, of Cumberland passed away at his home.
He was born November 23, 1961 in Cambridge and was the son of Clyde E. “June” Barnett Jr. of Buffalo and the late Elizabeth L. “Dot” (Smith) Barnett.
Mr. Barnett was a former oil field worker. He was a 1979 graduate of Meadowbrook High School, a member of Belle Valley American Legion, Buffalo VFW Men’s Aux. #8040, 821 Am Vets and Belle Valley Eagles, and he enjoyed deer hunting.
In addition to his father he is survived by one brother, Clyde “Kink” Barnett of Cambridge; five sisters, Denise (Larry) Cross, Jackie (George) Chesar, Sandy (Ted) Gress, Leah (Bill) Leek and Alice (Jeff) Hayes, all of Cumberland; several nieces and nephews, and his dog Buddy.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday.
Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery.
