Alberta J. Keenan, 90, of Byesville passed away Sunday (February 17, 2013) at SEORMC.
She was born March 30, 1922 in Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Zimmerman) Soulsby.
Alberta was a homemaker. She loved her dogs and enjoyed going out to eat and taking days trips.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Keenan whom she married May 30, 1940 and passed away January 29, 2000; a son John W. Keenan and a sister Betty Rose.
She is survived by one son Albert R. Keenan of Beloit, WI; four daughters, Bonita (Ralph) Demuth of Byesville, Judy (Johnny) Zarycki of Salesville, Verna (Johnny) Macias of Georgetown TX and Beth A. (Joseph) Jones of Byesville; fifteen grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 1:00.
Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
