Ann J. (Kraizel) Kovalchik, 89, of Cambridge passed away Thursday (June 7, 2012) at the Cardinal House.
She was born November 23, 1922 in Buckeyeville and was the daughter of the late Mike and Mary (Nemchik) Kraizel. Ann retired from N.C.R. after 20 years of service and had formerly worked at RCA. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, and a former member of the Eagles and VFW Ladies Aux. She loved her flowers; jig saw puzzles and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Kovalchik who passed away June 4, 1997; brothers, John and Steve and sister Mary. She is survived by one daughter Elaine Stennett of Cambridge; one granddaughter Amy (Justin) Ackley of Cambridge; two great grandsons, Tylor and Brady; two sisters-in-law, Ann Trubisky of Pittsburgh and Isabelle Kovalchik of Byesville. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville with a wake services at 7:30 p.m. Services will be 11:00 Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
